ORIGINS
The story of Launch Pad Brewery began in 2014 after an inspiring pumpkin-themed party hosted by David Levesque and his wife, Erin. Encouraged by guests' positive feedback on his homebrewed pumpkin beer, David saw an opportunity to turn his passion into a business. With a solid business plan taking shape, he approached his best friend, Henry, to join him on this venture. Henry, though not knowledgeable about brewing, offered his support and good credit, and together they founded Launch Pad Brewery in October 2014.
Since its inception, Launch Pad Brewery has grown steadily. Starting with a 1.25-barrel brew house, they brewed double batches, totaling 2.5 barrels in the first year, producing 305 barrels of beer. The second year saw significant expansion with four 7-barrel fermenters, leading to a 30%+ increase in production, reaching 418 barrels.
In their third year, Launch Pad Brewery further enhanced their capabilities by adding a 5-barrel brew house from Portland Kettle Works and two 15-barrel fermenters, allowing them to increase production once again.
On July 24th, 2015, Launch Pad Brewery officially opened its doors, and ever since, they have been dedicated to crafting exceptional brews that reflect their passion, integrity, and commitment to quality. As they continue to expand, the sky's the limit for Launch Pad Brewery.
